In the Fort's shadow and a mere ten minute walk through the cobbled streets of Amber, the historic capital of Rajasthan, lies the Anokhi Museum of Hand Printing (AMHP). Located in a traditional townhouse, this museum showcases the art & heritage of wood-block printing.
Very well organized museum about local block printing. Inside a beautiful haveli house, the museum has also a little garden where you can have some drinks or snacks, an oasis from all hustle of Amber fort area. Besides all the nice exhibits you can also watch three crafts master on work, really interesting! The museum shop carries some interesting items, I bought a traditional textile board game and a bag to be hand-printed. Must visit if you’re interested in textile.
