The image of lord krishna which is exist in Govind dev ji temple also called "Bajrakrti". This image created by Bajranabh the greate grand son of lord krishna. Before 5000 year back when Bajranabh is 13 year old he asked his great grand mother (doughter in - low of krishna) about krishna. As she describe he made 3 images of lord krishna. when she watch the first image she said "not all but only feet is the same".  Then Bajranabh create 2nd image. about second she said " The Chest looks same like lord krishna".  Then Bajranabh try again with meditation what she exactly describe and create the image of lord krishna. and show his great grandmother. she surprise and glorified him. Because that was the same as lord krishna.

The First image of lord krishna known as "Madan Mohan Ji", Second "Gopinathji", and the third which is looks same like lord krishna is known as Govind Dev Ji.

With time passing the indian culture will be forgotten. Together with every other thing these pious divine images were also lost from the memories of people. Some 500 years ago, legend has it that Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu asked one of his disciples to excavate the idol of Govinda, which had been buried there to protect it from the Mughal marauders.
