Chand Baori, in the village of Abhaneri near Bandikui, Rajasthan. This well is just phenomenal. It's historical, you got to see deep down to find the well actually and believe me it's terrific. It was built in around 14th century, which in itself is amazing. I can't imagine how hard the public life was then. But, a place worth to go. Well worth the visit to the Stepwell. No entry fee unless you bring professional video equipment but camera phones and point and shoots are fine. No need for a tour guide as you'd also need to pay a fee. We enjoyed just visiting to take pictures and liked the fact that a scene from the Dark Knight was filmed here. It's a massive structure and you can only walk along the upper perimeter.
