The Chittor Fort or Chittorgarh is one of the largest forts in India. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The fort was the capital of Mewar and is located in the present-day town of Chittor. It sprawls over a hill 180 m in height spread over an area of 280 ha above the plains of the valley drained by the Berach River.
It's a serene place to explore. You will need a ride if you want to cover complete place and choose a day when weather is cloudy or temp is low. Usually it will take around 4 hours for the complete tour of this place. You can find fresh fruit sellers on the way and water stalls as well. you must visit museum, there you can see how the war was fought from fort, what are the strategies and how strong the soldiers are.
