The University of Rajasthan was established in 1947. Previously, it was known as the University of Rajputana. It is one of the oldest universities in Rajasthan. It offers MA degree in French, English, Hindi, Urdu, philosophy, Sanskrit, dramatics, drawing & painting, economics, history, political science, sociology, museology & conservation, M.Com degree in business administration, accountancy and business statistics, economic administration and financial management, MSc degree in botany, biotechnology, chemistry, geography, geology, home science, mathematics, zoology, microbiology.

Admission Process:

The university has set up particular eligibility criteria for each of the courses. The eligible candidates need to fill up the application and submit it. Admission takes place on the basis of merit.

Scholarships:

Daya Krishna Scholarship: Offered to the first two position holders in semester one and two.

Sukadev Shashtri Darshan Puruskar: Offered to the first position holder in semester three and four.
