Camels, which are called the ship of Rajasthan, have become very less today. Government should do something for their safety. Every year 22 June celebrated as World Camel Day. To spread awareness in people about importance of camel that how is camel important in livelihood. especially desert area people, they are dependent on camel for transportation, as a source of food and milk.

Some Interesting fact about Camel:-

• There are in world camel have 3 species 1) Arabian Camels, 2) Camelus ferus,  3) Asian Camels
• In Rajasthan mostly camels are domesticated. 
• Camel's have hump store fat
• Camel eyes are made by 3 layers which protect their eyes from sand.
• Camel have thick skin on knees and chest which help them to sit in hot and cool sand.
• Camel can carry up to 400 kg for 40 km. They are very strong animal.
• Camel can survive without water 7 days.
• Camel have thick lips which help them to eat thorny plant
