Kuchaman fort build by Gurjara-Pratihara king in between 730 - 760. It have rich collection of original inlay work in semi-precious stones, glass, and gold paint. This fort shows the historical significance of the Rathore rule in Rajasthan. There were 32 bastions surrounding the entire fortification. This fort occupies a wide area which could be entered via 10 glorious gates from different sides. Initially the entire city was existing inside the fort and outer area was deserted. But now entire city are exist outside the fort.

Fort's inner walls are curved with the original inlay work of glass, semi precious stones and gold. for this kind of decoration they used color of dried flower. The ceiling of the main hall of the fort, also known as Darbar-e-Khas is painted with the portraits of all the Rathore rulers. Also, beautiful carvings are done on the ceilings of each room.
