Mewar Festival is also known as Gangor Festival. Which is a combination of Gan(God Shiva) & gor (Goddess Gori). Generally, this festival is celebrated in each part of Rajasthan. But when we talk Udaipur it's a celebration is awesome. This is the festival which is part of Udaipur city drenched in colors on enjoy. This festival generally celebrates after some days of Holika Dahan. In this festival, mostly women are participating. On this day they dress up with their finest dress.

for this ceremony, women decorate the statue of Isar( Lord Shiva) & Gangaur(Goddess Parvati). after dressing they carry them with the music & dancing everywhere city. At last, they move towards the Gangaur Ghat at Pichola Lake. thereon Gangaur Ghat they transported statue of Isar & Gangaur into the special boats and immersed in the deep waters of the lake.
