Description

Bala Quila also known Alwar fort is a fort in Alwar in Indian state of Rajasthan. It is situated on a hill in the Aravalli Range, above the town of Alwar. The fort is 5 kilometres long and is about 1.5 kilometres wide. It was built in 15th century by the Hasan Khan Mewati.

Route to top of the fort is very nice. Best time to visit is early morning and they have recently started morning Safari...  No animals as such but you ll see many peacocks. Good off road exp in forest.  Good historic monument . It is in foothills and approx 5 kms from city so also offers tracking or cycling opportunity.  Facilities are not so good and mostly parts of fort are not allowed to visit so not so good for history lover but great for photography lovers and trackers
