In the garbagriha or the main sanctrum, there are faces of lord shiva sculputured in stone and this is a new dimension to me.  I have seen in many places, lord  shiva is worshiped in Linga form and not in full form like maha vishnu.  It is very much pleasant there and if you go in the evening, there is shade and perfect natural light to see this place.   God is omnipresent and omnipotent, But visiting this place gives you the feel that the stone sculptures are asking you, why are you so late to visit us? We have been waiting for centuries to see either your ancestors or you.
